B.D. Lenz with JazzMakers Collective

Mix together the styles of Pat Metheny, Mike Stern and Stevie Ray Vaughn and you have the recipe for contemporary New Jersey jazz guitarist B.D. Lenz. Joining B.D. Lenz will be three of Yorkshire’s finest artists: Martin Longhawn on piano & keyboards, Jenni Molloy double bass and Chris Sykes on drums.

Support comes from Josh Allen (saxophone) and Vivek Santhost (piano & keys)

Together these musicians will keep you surprised with an eclectic mix of jazz standards, original material and re-workings of pop classics.

In addition, B.D. Lenz will be leading a guitar workshop with students from the Albemarle Centre between 5 – 6.30pm which the public are welcome to attend.
