Originally commissioned by Hull Jazz Festival last year in 2021 and premiering at Social, the flamboyant take on the big band tradition, the Kitsch Co. UV Ball plays again at The Adelphi on November 24th
The unique Kitsch Co. compositional style blends 60’s Rock, 70’s Soca and 90’s House with jazz giants such as Artie Shaw and Gerry Mulligan. If that wasn’t enough, the 90’s Club Kid aesthetic (inspiration from Michael Alig, Leigh Bowery and James St. James) provides a colourful experience that drips in UV paint.
Expect something wild, wonderful and darn right weird (90’s Club Kid attire encouraged)!
