CELEBRATING 30 YEARS!

Exciting Performance Opportunity – Call out for singers for Earth Makes No Sound

If you care about the environment and want an experience to remember – this is the show for you!

Hull Freedom Chorus are inviting singers to take part in a performance of Earth Makes No Sound  at Hull Truck Theatre.  This physical theatre show by Filament Theatre will be part of Hull Jazz Festival in July.

Hull Freedom Chorus are currently recruiting singers to be part of this show, giving a chance to be part of an a capella theatre piece with powerful environmental themes.  They have a small group of singers already interested, but would welcome more voices, particularly younger singers (18+), and male voices.

Watch a film of Osnat and Sabina from Filament Theatre introducing the project here . Together with local choral leader Camille Maalawy, they’ll lead participating Chorus members on a stimulating journey with the show.

If you’d be available for the majority of rehearsals (see the full schedule below), and would like to be considered for one of the places in the final show please email [email protected] with your name, vocal part if you know it (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) and the phrase ‘Earth Makes No Sound – Hull yes’.

Remaining places are limited, because our singers will integrate with a professional cast – but Hull Freedom Chorus will try to accommodate all those who are interested.

You’ll be informed if a place is available for you. Scores and links to downloadable recordings and instructional videos will be shared with all those who opt into the project in due course.
